Hi, Welcome to bandcamp. My name is Mark and I’ll be your server.

I’ve always shied away from releasing a compilation. In a lot of cases a compilation signifies the end and trust me, there’s no end in sight for Mark Parker Music. However, I realized that all the music on my bandcamp page is only representative of one phase of my musical life. That phase being from when I crawled out of my self-imposed music exile in 2020 and started writing and recording again. It occurred to me that there may be a person or two that heard these songs and might be curious of what all the stuff that came before sounded like. Also, there’s probably a soul or two that might have dug some of my “oldies” and might want to hear them again.

So here it is, in no particular order. My compilation (notice I'm not using the terms "greatest hits" or "best of" LOL). It’s a mish mosh of 20 plus years of writing and recording songs. Some of it recorded in studios, some at home and some at Jason Michael's house (those were the most fun to record). Some of it is acoustic and some of it is electric, full band, no band. It’s all over the place so if you don’t like one song, try another! Eventually you might find one you like. Hopefully.

There is new Mark Parker Music on the way. The next phase, if you will. Until then have a stroll through the past with me and this fun, if uneven, compilation of past songs. A box set without the box!
